
Chiku Beta - App Guide
Installing Chiku
Step 1: Tap this invitation link
Step 2: Get TestFlight
Skip this step if you have already installed Testflight.
TestFlight is an app from Apple that lets us test beta versions of our apps before they’ve officially released. It’s a safe and simple way to try out Chiku while we fine-tune the experience.
Step 3: Install Chiku
Open the TestFlight App, and you will see Chiku App under “Available Apps”.
If you don’t see Chiku there, tap here to install Chiku.
Tap Install next to the Chiku App.
Creating your account
Step 1: Open the Chiku App
On the Welcome Screen, Create your account using your Apple ID / Google account.
You’ll find these introduction about Chiku. You can either Skip it or tap “Continue”.
Enter your name and tap “Continue”.
Add a profile photo of your choice by tapping the (+) icon, then tap “Continue”. You can also “Skip” this step if you wish, and add your profile photo later.
Add up to 5 photos from your phone Gallery to start experiencing Chiku!
Interacting with Chiku
On the homepage, tap one of the photos that you have uploaded.
Make sure you have your volume on and already allowed access to microphone.
Chiku will start interacting with you, asking questions about the photo and helping you reminisce about the memories behind it.
Chat with Chiku for at least 15 minutes and repeat it every day.
Uploading more photos
You can always add more photos by tapping the (+) icon on the top right of the homepage.
Sharing your story
Chiku automatically generates a story about your photo based on your conversation. You can share it with your family and friends by tapping the “Share” button on the bottom-right to create a new shared album.
Name your album.
Once named, tap “Share Invite Link” to add your friends and family as the album member.
Your friends and family will receive an invitation to download Chiku and view your story in a shared album.
