Chiku Beta - App Guide for Users

Creating your account
Let’s begin the journey! Tap the app to open Chiku. If you haven’t installed Chiku yet, tap the "Download" button in the email you received or the bottom section of this guide.
On the welcome screen, sign up easily using your email, Apple ID or Google account . Just a few taps, and you’re in!
You’ll see a screen that introduces what Chiku is all about. Make sure your volume is turned up.
Provide your name by voice when Chiku asks, so Chiku can know what to call you.
Tap the ( + ) icon to upload a profile photo. It’s always nice to put a face to the name.
Select up to 1 photo from your gallery, that you’d like to chat about. This will be your starting point to chat with Chiku. Once ready, tap “Let’s go!”
Talking with Chiku
Chiku will gently guide the conversation, asking questions about your photo and helping you relive those special moments. Have fun reminiscing! Remember, you can leave the conversation at any time by clicking “Exit” in the top left corner.
Once you finish your first conversation, Chiku will guide you through a post-conversation recap, and let you know that your memory is being curated.
Chiku will then show you your created Story. Here you can choose to share, it where it will be added to your Circle where you can invite loved ones.
Finally, you’ll land back in the Home View where you can start to upload more memories!
Pro tip: Talk with Chiku for at least 15 minutes a day for a richer experience and don’t hesitate to pick a different photo each time!
Uploading more photos
Head to your Memories View, and look for the “+” in the top right corner. You can re-explore old photos here or add new ones!
Sharing your story
After you’ve had a lovely conversation with Chiku, a story will be created automatically based on your conversation. If you choose to share it, you’ll find it in your Circle where you can invite friends and family to join in on the fun through likes and comments. They can also add their own photos to your Circle as well!
Simply click on the Invite button and a shareable link will be generated! Once the receiver clicks on the link, they will be walked through how to join Chiku and contribute to your Circle.
💌 Tip: You can keep adding more stories to the same album later. It’s a lovely way to create memories for generations to come!
Chiku is currently available on iOS. You can install it on your iPhone or iPad.
